Tourists who get to Lasize which, for that matter, is a charming city, should not give in to the temptation of shopping. Despite the fact Lasize can rightfully be deemed a shoppers’ paradise from where visitors can buy all they want, the city has a lot more to offer.
Lasize is, it too, overlooked by a castle, but this landmark is not the main attraction of the city. Its paved lakefront promenade, lighted by lamps reflected in the lake water, stands out as the chief attraction.
Lazise is bordered by two ports, and its south side is where one of the few fine sand beaches in the area is located. Despite the fact a large portion of the beach is private property, pertaining to a camping site, there is enough space left for tourists to relax while enjoying the sun, the beach and the water.
Villa La Pergolana, which dates back to the 14th century, is home to the oldest and most famous honey festival, organized each year in October.
